This photo was taken during the California State Summer School for the Arts Innerspark program at CalArts. There's a huge grassy slope leading up from the dorms to the main building, and as it was one of the last days of the program and there was no homework, a sizable group of the writers had just gathered to sit around. We were writing an (intentionally bad) play for the last day of class, and eating my roommate's Nutella, crackers and grapes.
